It’s not enough to exclusively work with adult women, It Starts With Girls.
We recognize the intergenerational trauma that is passed down through generations in societies that value women’s thoughts, experiences, bodies, and capabilities less than those of men. many women around the world have to labor as domestic workers and often receive little to no wages as a result.
We want to support their right to have access to opportunities and resources; their right to have power to control their own lives, both within and outside the home.
We want girls to grow up with confidence & without feeling shame about their bodies, gender and their other physical needs. We want teenage girls to know that their education, their futures, and their voices matter and they have the power to to protect their legal human rights and to decide what career life they want to pursue.
We believe every girl/women deserves to understand the intersectionality of her identities, and feel pride in the personal power that comes along with them.
